As the title says really, I'm looking for owners who have installed the twin plenum and their opinions and feedback.

I appreciate opinions will differ so please any opinion/observations are most welcome.

I'm particularly interested in the gain around how it has changed the drive, acceleration over the standard plenum.

Cheers
Mark

I've only had the opportunity to dive mine a few times with it fitted but it feels great.

Really quick response and the speed at which the revs pick up is amazing - I've had to relearn to drive her to some extent. The mapper even asked if I had a lightened flywheel on her thumbup

This is based on a modified 450 Chimaera.

I assume you've re-mapped due to other mods and not the twin plenum?

Mine is standard on Lucas with act trumpets, induction, de-cat, pre-cats out. So I assume with my standard AFM a change to the maps aren't needed.

Hi Mark,

Really pleased with mine I did a writeup on PH a while back. There is a copy of the writeup on my blog...

If you have any particular queries either post on here or send me a PM.

It has a nice induction sound as well: smile

Your blog mentioned the need to modify the coil and PAS brackets. Does the twin plenum not accommodate these without having to modify new brackets?

Yes the sound is awesome! biggrin

I think the PAS bracket needed a slight modification but the coil needed a new bracket as the coil bolts onto the OEM plenum. I believe Tim (ACT) supplied something to make both items fit, although it was not included in the original kit. If you intend on keeping the PAS and coil in the same location as I did it would be worth having a chat with Tim and see what he recommends.

Ok thanks for the clarification. My next step is to email Tim and ask a few pertinent questions.

Thanks for your help Matthew.

The camera is just a couple of old GoPro Hero 2s, that video is probably not the best example as the camera was covered in flies.

This is a good demonstration of the quality:

Not bad for a 4 year old camera.
