So, where is the best place to sell gold

Flogged a load of scrap a couple of years ago and the place opposite the police station took some beating

Offered him some old half crowns and florins not so long back , he wouldn't do a deal on a reasonable amount and was quite offhand and dismissive.

Took them elsewhere and ended up getting nearly 20% more .
