And yet millions of them go about their lives without murder death killing anyone on a daily basis, which suggests your interpretation of their book is a little bit fundamentalist.
On the other hand it suggests that people are becoming very wary of the Islam religion. And its astonishing and unfortunate capacity to get innocently caught up in all of this kind of stuff.Bill said:

So normal nice religious people that don't take their religion as an excuse to kill people are OK then?Edited by Burwood on Saturday 20th December 11:50

No, they're all delusional fairy tale believing fkwits in my opinion.Religion has no place in this modern world, it may have been fine for the masses in the days when they never went outside their own village or valley but in these days of scientific knowledge and modern thinking, religion has as much relevance as a dinosaur turd.
Has there been anymore news about what happened to those poor hostages that were killed? Was it at the murderer's hand or in the crossfire.
Watched Munich last night. Not seen it in it's entirety before. Thought it a very good film that made you think, but boy! what a clusterfek of a rescue operation, both at the Olympic Village and at the airport. In the former case the terrorists could see the police getting into position via live TV broadcasts.
Been reading about it and other incidents during the 70s and there are a few hostages and rescuers that get shot by their own side. I suppose it's the cost to save the many

I think it's part of the human condition to have to believe in things. In antiquity, people were inventing religions all the time. Pretty much every schizophrenic who heard voices or narcissistic psychopath with an army used to found a religion. These days religion is all very corporate and the only real niche is to create some sort of cult where you get to shag as many easily led people as you can.Even pseudo-science like global warming follows a religious belief system. Every event, no matter how ridiculous, is seen as reinforcement of their beliefs. It doesn't matter if there's no real evidence, they just make a computer model that tells them they're right. People who don't buy into it are called deniers, but might as well be called heretics.

You the ruined everything by missing out on the PH N, P & E holy trinity by not mentioning UKIP or immigration.
Amateur! Your membership to the frothy-mouthed is revoked.
He's right though. A belief in man-made global warming IS a religious belief. I strongly suspect most (if not all) believers are white, middle-class ex-christians, who think they are too educated/intelligent/sophisticated/whatever to believe in a sky fairy, but still need to believe in something . The working class are too busy trying to just get by, while third-worlders still believe in their ancient gods. You the ruined everything by missing out on the PH N, P & E holy trinity by not mentioning UKIP or immigration.

And just for you - most of the afore-mentioned third-worlders are indeed immigrants (coming here stealing our jobs, raping our women etc), and UKIP are the only major(?) political party who haven't sold their soul to the global warming scam. Happy now?
