Hi Guys, I just think that this place and in particular Craig Cairns the sales manager deserves a little post for his outstanding customer service and dedication.

It just seems to me that no matter how much money you want to spend you just do not get any kind of customer service from anyone these days and so when something or someone decent comes along it kind of catches you by suprise hence the post.

One could argue that when spending serious ammounts of money on a car its only what you should expect however by comparison I walked into Mercedes Maidstone over a week ago to enquire about the new AMG GT, I hadnt made my mind up gallardo v 430 v 599 but liked the idea of a brand new car again, my thoughts were that if I could get an early GT I would buy the used A45 on the front and enjoy over the winter until the GT came in spring, I walked in to the showroom to be greated at the main desk by 3 perfectly groomed people to be told that if I wanted to know about the AMG GT then I needed to talk to one of the AMG specialists, fair enough, however they are all busy currently so please leave your contact details and we will get back to you. ...... still waiting !

So for those that are regular on here you will know I have been looking for either a 430 or a gallardo, i viewed a couple of Gallardo's but being cautious and doing my homework I missed out by the time i actually bid on them, frustrated I called both Lambo 7 oaks and pangbourne to enquire about used 07/08 cars circa £75k, Craig immediatly offered me an 09 car which was out of my price range, several days of emails back and fourth and price research and I realised it was a great price and we agreed a deal only to find out that as the car was SOR it had been sold privatly by its owner.
By this point I was really frustrated and told Craig I was going to buy a 430 from TFC local to me, Craig was having none of it and told me to hold on and that he would find me a car as we had built up a kind of friendship at this point and he really wanted to get me onboard with the brand, this sounded a bit dubious to me however craig then spent time looking at various private and other adds on Autotrader and Pistonheads for me confirming the service history he has access to on Lamborghini files, and suggesting cars to me that looked value that he had absolutely no involvement with whatsoever, one of the cars he suggested was well over budget but was value I immediatly declined of course, I then had a look on the net that lunchtime at the car he was talking about to find it was just above one of his cars that he hadnt even mentioned and the car I subsequently ended up buying after a couple of weeks of batering with offers and counter offers, i.e playing the game.
After much back and forth we finnaly agreed a deal by text whilst watching strictly at 9 o clock on a saturday night such is the mans dedication.
Craig pointed out to me that Lamborghini Pangbourne are a charity organisation and that he made nothing out of the deal and his main wish was to get me involved with the brand, the next sentence was how he was only going to charge me £2k for an oil change at next years service smile

seriously you can read my other posts about how we went from 75k to a lot more, but to anyone thinking of a used Gallardo, dont be put off by calling a main dealer regardless of age you are after Craig went far further than he ever needed to in finding me a car, constant emails and texts that at times were completely out of hours, he even returned my calls promptly if he was unavailable, I mean what kind of dealer bothers to do that for goodness sake smile

I should at this point also thank Craigs team, James and Mia, and the new girl that sadly I didnt get to meet properly smile proper service from some really nice people.

Guys, keep up the good work.

Right that should be enough to guarantee a free service, Im off.

My only complaint throughout was that he wouldnt send a car (one of the Bentleys) to collect me from Pangbourne station smile tight ar$e

I've read that a couple of times and still not unsure i understand what happened.

Did you buy the car from Pangbourne in the end and why was this car never mentioned in the first place?

Didn't seem so keen on charity when I asked them on behalf of my wife who is MD at Help for Hero's if they could do anything for the charity.

I think we have gone slightly off topic here and your missing the joke.

It was a reference to the poor old car dealers not making any money on the deal because I screwed them down on the price .... so get the violins out.

I think he should have done that just for a laugh, you'd walk to the dealer from the station quicker than you'd do it by car!
