Cat D vehicles and Cherished Plates

Are there any restrictions on putting a private plate on a cat d vehicle?

And any greater chances of losing entitlement of said private number?

Sounds really silly as I am writing this but would appreciate prior experience/knowledge on such matters

No different to any other car, owned 2 now both had my plate on them and one still does
