It's been quite a quiet year for me, haven't been able to get out much due to other projects taking a lot of my time.

Did you know what the temple is a replica of Dave, I guess they explain it in Epcot?

If not, here's photos from my visit to the real thing in the centre of Beijing - https://flic.kr/s/aHsjPnsrgS

Have enjoyed this year - starting by going from a d3100 to a d7000 and ending with going to m43. Lots to learn as always as I sell of the Nikon equipment and learn new things

The level and diversity of talent on PH is insane!

Shot this while I was still in the RAF, wasn't really sure what I was doing but fancied giving it a go:

Then left my job in March to shoot cars full-time (armed only with one body/lens and a tripod!):

Shot a couple of things in between as well just to keep my hand in with other forms of photography, but liked these two.

Amazing stuff guys, I must practice more in 2015...

1. My son Finley (who has been my main victim subject this year):

2. Shot of a client's office used as a cover shot for employee communication:

3. My son again smile Which won one of the PH monthly competitions:

4. My son again!

5. You guessed it, Finley again

Thanks to those on PH who persuaded me that using raw was worthwhile! Took a while to get the processing worked out, but very happy with the results (number 5 only one here from raw).

I look forward to this thread every year. The quality PH members puts out is much better than most photography focused forums/communities!

I've had a bit of a weak year this year as I've been busy but I will change that in 2015!

I'm still in the very early stages of trying to improve my abilities but I've picked these because at least they came out more or less as I saw them. Any brick-bats or encouragement welcome.

Hopefully next year things will have moved on a bit.
