Hi all,

Got my first Jag last week, not a daily but to be used as a general run-about as I am lucky enough to work within walking distance from work. It's an 02-plate, 100K miles 3.0 petrol, stamped-up JSH book, 11 months MOT etc and for the brief period I've driven it seems a lovely place to be to waft around in. Even starting to love the wood-a-like interior despite being mid-30's!! hehe

My one gripe was that the wipers were crap so bought some new blades and headed honme to fit them. Not usually a problem but the wiper arms only lift about 3 inches from the screen before fouling on the rear bonnet edge - this makes it seemingly impossible to get the old blades off and the new ones on.

Is there a service poistion you can put the wipers in to stop them in a better position or is there something else I am missing?

Any pointers gratefully received before it rains biggrin

They are a pain on these. Think you can slide the old blades off in situ as long as you disengage the clip

Yep, they slide off in situ. No need to park them half way up the screen but you can obviously do that by switching off at the key mid swipe if you want to.
