Not if I can avoid it, PDR should do the trick.

Mine has arrived! Only a quick look so far and it seems the colour match on the rear bumper is poor but otherwise is Zoe shaped. May regret going for the 17s... not a lot of sidewall protection on those tyres so can't be letting the missus park it biggrin

It has arrived and it is smashing, no problem at all so far...

Taken a good look round and it is all in order. Dan has done a good job.

Tempted to email Daniel myself and ask him to take Stevie Wonder off of the PDI work before they do mine

hehe
Don't think for one second this was done pre PDI, the delivery company have accepted liability.

Just got mine!

I managed to wipe out 10 miles charge doing a 5 mile journey. Also got the car computer to rate my acceleration and anticipation as slightly crap driving I can see a PH challenge coming on here to see how much its possible to upset the computer biggrin

No dents on mine, but watch the Renault logo on the front. The blue is just a plastic cover and mine has water trapped under it already.

Will do pics and better review later tomorrow...

The damage is a right ball ache, that's rubbish.

The range thing - I assume it'll be a but like when you get a new (to you) car of a dealer forecourt, the ave MPG is always really low as it's stood idling or just done really short trips. I'd imagine your ZOE doesn't know you yet and will adapt to your style, maybe.

At least you've got em anyway. I paid my deposit Monday night, had call Tuesday to confirm the finance had been accepted and then nothing since then. I was expecting something in the post to sign and send back today or a call from British Gas.

Maybe I'm being a bit impatient.

So, I rocked up at the chargeyourcar superfast charger at York to have my first encounter with charging.... Oh dear

The app on my phone could not communicate with the charging point

So I phoned chargeyourcar up. "No problem, we can start the charge for you from here"

Sounds good

But no

"There is something wrong, I can't get a response from the chargepoint"

Back home.

Fingers crossed that the ecotricity charger at Doncaster services is working tomorrow on my trip, otherwise I will be flatbedding it...

Tw@t!!! that's the cheapest yet isn't it??
Same as my deal but with free metallic paint in this case. Very well done.
Order placed today, hopefully getting the car on Xmas eve.

Ordered through Arnold Clark, I think they might have two more cars available.

Does the app alert you if there's a power cut whilst charging?

Our consumer unit tripped a couple of circuits last night, you'd be screwed if that happened when you're tucked up in bed thinking you're good to go the following morning.

Zoe #2

Question for anyone in the know...

I hate keeping my foot on the brake when stationary, I was taught to use the handbrake. But, since the zoe moves off when you release the brake will I burn the motor out or is it smart enough to know the handbrake is on and cut the power. I know I can take it out of drive but for short stops at lights that's a pain. Or should I just blind everyone behind me instead.

First hiccup! Can anyone who has there car tell me if the dealer provided a "welcome letter" with an activation code for ZE services. I asked for one but got told I just need my reg and www.renault.co.uk. After much searching I've found the ZE service reg page and surprise surprise I need an activation code rolleyes

Link for ref is here;

My Intens in blue is at the dealer, but my power installation isn't going to happen until the 7th Jan. Not sure if I will be able to get the £250 incentive Renault was offering until the end of the month now.

Been scooting around tonight an I love the ease of this car. Perfect for nipping around the town. We even topped the car up at the charge point at the Mall, Cribbs Causeway, was as easy as I hoped. Plug in, swipe card, press start, walk away. Could Check on the Renault ZE Services app when the car was charged so I could move it & free up the bay.

SWMBO had a wobble when she realised it didn't have a gearbox, but after literally 200yards she said she was comfy and loved driving it.

I have been the victim of severe cyber bullying on a certain social network as a result of this car. At least I can come here for chat with some likeminded Zoeists.

Picked the car up this lunchtime so far have driven from the dealer to work then work to home, quite enjoying it so far. It has quite a decent turn of speed up to 50 or so. I have borrowed a 3 pin plug cable from the dealer to tide me over until my charge point can be installed.

Ben

p.s. I don't seem to have been given the order number needed to register for my charging point install, any idea where I might find it?

Okay folks time to meet my new girl Zoe....

Gas lifts on the bonnet is a nice touch. Suprised to see a coolant tank too, guess leccy engines need cooling too.
