Ah yes sorry I was writing a document whilst I glanced at your post, totally misread it.

Sadly not!! I have done quite well for some clients, but ETs are really NOT claimant orientated - I wish they were.

Let me give you an example - a Claimant (my client) wanted to add something into her claim, a period of 7 days after it had been served. Permission was denied as this was "too much cost to the Respondent". Then, in another case, a Respondent wanted to change their defence four months after it had been lodged. And after F&BPs had been requested and answered. Permission was granted FFS.

And I can faithfully say I've only had two clients where I thought (but can't ask!) that they were making it up/lying....

This thread is for people who make/manufacturer something physical,
I think we are kind of drifting away from the original idea...
Thank you. Title of the thread is not: Tell us what you do.

That was about £4500 all fitted/installed for them. Typically they fall between £2500 and £3500 although some of the very large custom builds add an extra '0' to those prices.
But pitching for new business is obviously OK?

If you don't understand this thread's purpose or what 'pitching for business' means I don't think there would be any point in answering you.

Oh, ain't we trying to be big and clever, obviously your definition of pitching has been taken straight from The Apprentice. This thread was clearly set up by you to give you an opportunity to self promote whilst side skirting the rules, in my opinion.

This is my new venture. We make clothing and other products that celebrate cult classics and icons of the road.

...another one done. This pool had a massive deep end, and the liner was quite obviously fked. Deep end reduced, and a new liner fitted.

I know from this forum that a lot of you make some great products, from websites to kitchen furniture to flag poles. I thought it would be nice then to create a 'showcase' on here for you to show off your best work. This thread is for people who make/manufacturer something physical, so if you're in customer service please don't post a photo of a headset or if you're an accountant please don't post a photo of a calculator smile

There aren't any rules but I'd say that to stop people loading a ton of photos in one go, that each person is limited to 1 photo a month. If you like the idea off you go....smile

I don't want to be a forum Nazi but see the above OP? And the clue is in the title "show".

Any chance we can return to the halcyon early days of this thread and see pictures of things people make as opposed to single paragraph descriptions of your role in a service?

I design and code control systems for machinery we build in-house (I wear steel-toed boots to work). Does that count as "making stuff" ?

If so I could dig out a few photos (1 per month, natch)
