Queueing up at the Spar shop just now I read the headlines on the Mail on Sunday's Jihadi John Exclusive - "I'm a dead man walking."

You're also a perceptive man, John.

As an aside//::

One Superyacht owner used to fly her 737 private jet down to Nice with some Daffs, just because they looked so pretty in the garden.

They did look very nice.

I've just been told that dinner is going to be roast beef.

Horseradish sauce at the ready!

In weather news, it was grey, wet and windy in Devon this morning, and is grey, wet and windy in Cornwall this afternoon.

Good service from my courier. I always use him when I need to send some bread.

You need creamed horseradish; as it sounds it's like horseradish only milder. Englishmen eat roast beef with horseradish.

I bought some fresh last week. Blooming 'eck, my eyes did run a bit grating it but well worth the effort.

Pad, after having a couple of cardiac 'episodes' a few years ago due to a very stressy job and a shyte Manager. Anything you've got left to give is a bit of a bonus.

Not convinced that I'm going to be able to stay awake long enough to watch Top Gear tonight. Thinking about hitting my bed already.

Lighten the mood a little.

There's a Russian woman on Darts for Comic relief,whose name is so long it hardly fits on the back of her shirt.

She either needs a nickname or to eat more pies.
