We've had a bafflingly awful flier through - English Democrats.

I cannot understand for one second how it made it through any proofing procedures. I can only assume they had none... badly phrased and grammatically awkward at best, leaving aside the glaring lack of tangible information in its content.

Made me angry! I'm actually not even aware of the English Democrat Party... -this flier did nothing to change that! laugh

Also, hello party people! byebye

I've been a good boy this morning.

Got to the fishmongers early and got a nice plaice, samphire, and some queens for tonight. From the butcher's rump steak and box of ribs. Much cheaper and better quality than supermarkets could ever manage. lick

Cutting the grass one day with a motor mower, I frightened a shrew to death. It rushed out of the undergrowth just as the mower reached the edge of the grass. The first shrew I had ever seen; it was completely unharmed but dead.

Bad timing of the shrew.

Also found a cheese triangle under the seat.

Binned.

Or, as the landlord of my local said to a beardy bloke, "Shakespeare, you're bard."

Did I say I once went on Dickens Nudist Weekend? I went with great expectations but it was a bleak house and they all laughed at my little dorrit.

A gorgeous day, empty fast and sweeping country roads, classic cheese on the radio (Kim Wilde - Kids in America) and a hefty V8 under my right foot. I am a contented man today smile
