Marvellous.

I wonder if Karak's replacement mug made it in one piece.
I think it's arrived... well I've got a handy little card from the Post Office telling me to come get a parcel anyway. The PITA is that it's at the central office in Blackpool so it's a complete bh to get to - will try pick it up sometime this week smile

Mine has. Cheers boss. The mug is about to have it's rim wetting for the first time with the perfect radio of Yorkshire gold tea to room temperature warmed milk.

I shall leave for several minutes to fully savour the taste.

Goodness, that's an almost perfect result of mugs sent and received. There's a few that arrived with no handles and so on but that just adds to the mystique in my view. Marvellous.

Really wish I hadn't opened the "why are 6 series so cheap" thread... the looks of them have steadily grown on me over time and I did look at them a couple of years back but I was needing a diesel at the time and they were still substantial money but since I'm no longer doing the miles I was a 645i might do the job as a daily/cruiser and my long-suffering scooby could get re-purposed for track and hoon duties only scratchchin And since I wouldn't be buying until later in the year (there's the small matter of buying myself a house to get out of the way first) they will be even cheaper then. Arrrgggghh!

Earlier tonight the Indiana Jones movie was on in the background. It got me wondering what of today's architectural or trinket delights will be around in 500-1000 years to eventually become collector's mementos.

Anyway, back to my gold sculpturing.

My phone would give archeologists pause for thought. It has a sense of humour that is hard to pigeon hole.

Just now it spelled archaeologists incorrectly and five minutes before that it randomly reposted my previous post.

Oh how we laughed.

Your phone has a pigeon hole? Reliable outside the M25 but the data rate is a bit slow.

Morning folks. Pot of tea in front of me, sausage and pickle roll on a plate to my right. Sometimes work isn't too bad.

Just getting back for a moment to the problem of the lean times for TT posting that we have been experiencing recently, have the Committee considered Intermissions like they used to have on the television before the flawless continuity we have come to expect? For those who don't rememebr that far back, if there were a few minutes to fill before the next TV programme, there might be a short of film of a potter at his wheel or of an artist at his easel. They were rather nice and relaxing.

Suggestions for relaxing clips we could run on TT are welcome.

Two un-edited hours from this year's Chunk-Fest?
