Thanks to Mr Whitaker for the link to Performance 1 Coatings. Hadn't got a call back from Zircotec but Graham at Performance 1 answered the phone and promised a quote within the hour of receiving some photos of the manifolds.

Question is, do I get the de-CAT pipes coated along with the manifolds?

Thoughts and views please.

Hello apologies for tardy reply I was tempted to have my new manifolds coated but needed to save a few ££.

Essentially retaining heat in the exhaust is all good. I'm sure you know this but hotter exhaust increases gas exit from the cylinders while reducing under bonnet temps so all good.

Just depends how much you want to spend.. I can't picture the cat location (after j pipes or instead of ?)

Looks cool too..

Looks like you are doing a quality job either way smile

Cats are at the front between the manifolds and the hockey sticks.

It's an extra £60 for the two decat pipes. I do like the golden syrop look though.
