Shinynuts in Sprint
Discussion
Re the competition/advert for the Shinynuts in "Sprint" this month. Has anyone managed to get hold of "Jeremy" to order some of these? I've lost count of the calls I've made. I've left messages and sent a text but no response. Anyone had better luck? Maybe he doesn't want the business?
I think you'll find Jeremy stopped production of these some years ago (which is a shame as they are/were a quality product); he was selling some leftover stock held through PH classifieds a few months ago (I posted a heads up at the time), so I imagine this must be one of those last sets unless someone has acquired the rights and recommenced production meantime.
It's a while ago now but I do remember seeing one of the usual TVR parts stockists listing them - the new parts site does list so maybe being made once more:

If you do get hold of him Joe can you see if he's got 2 sets, save me trying to also get in touch with him? If you have no luck or they're all gone you could try Speed Shack or Mr.T

..... @ £96 a set!
that's a bit more than the 40 quid, (limited number of sets) mentioned in Sprint
I doubt £40 covers the material let alone manufacture, I have made my own but to sell them and just cover costs would be circa £150 / set of 20 and I would need to make a minimum of 10 sets! If you do get a set they are well well worth the £40. I believe they are 316 grade st/steel with forged ends and rolled threads, much cleaner and stronger than a cut thread. I am not sure that others on the market are 316 so would ask the question if purchasing.that's a bit more than the 40 quid, (limited number of sets) mentioned in Sprint
There was a guy selling stainless nuts at a Land Rover event I went to in the summer and I mentioned to the guy making them that TVR guys want them for their spider wheels. He said he'd consider making them if there was a market.
I'll look up the name when I get home if anyone is interested in contacting him to see if he makes anything suitable.
