2005 9-.3 Alarm going off randomly

Hi all,

Anyone know how to deactivate the alarm on a 9-3 of 2005 vintage?

Keeps going off at night which must be pissing off the neighbours.

alarm module is faulty, cheap to repair if you take it off

Not a saab but had the same problem. It turned out to be the battery giving up and initially the drop in voltage was triggering the alarm. The battery still had enough oomph to start the car without any indication that it was at the end of life. Once changed the alarm fault was no more.
