What to do with this metro gti?
Discussion
I've got a metro gti on ebay I bought a few months ago. Meant to be a joint project but my brother never paid up, and I simply can't afford to work on a car at the moment.
It's been off the road since 2009, needs some welding underneath and a thorough service.
Without disclosing any other figures, £900 would be break even for me. I can't see throwing money at it for an MOT would increase the value much.
Can anyone suggest what would be best to do for me to get rid of it as soon as possible for as much as I can? I have no interest in owning it anymore

K series engine alone has got to be worth a bag.....if it's good
No point splitting the car, it's worth more badged as a gti. And they made k series in their old form up to 2005 when they collapsed, and the chinese make an upgraded one now, so there isn't really a shortage of them.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
