Must admit the fight has lost about 20% of its effect as it should have been held 5 or so years ago, but now it seems it might well happen. Or not. Never really understood why it didn't happen.

My take... Mayweather knows he will be fighting a man who in this fight in particular, will feel he is fighting for all of the Philippines and that makes him extra scary, like meeting a Viking with his belief that dying in a fight made you a real man. Think I read when Pacman fights there is no crime in Manila as everyone watches him.

But that Pacman getting hammered by Marquez and being slower now has given him hope. (Problem there is Pacman slowish is still lightening fast and Mayweather had to have slowed, too)

Oh well, just hope it can all be settled in the ring!!

I'll save everyone else the trouble of posting....

I know many millionaires/billionaires/Russian oligarchs/Bill Gates personally (delete as appropriate) and they all lease their cars.

Mayweather ducking this fight tarnishes his record as far as i'm concerned.

Agree..think he knows that too, which is why it may well have to happen. In theory he will be meeting a less strong and fast Pacman....now is the better time for him.

There's more chance of me having a Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman threesome than for Pacq v Floyd fight to happen.
