Hi
can anyone shed some light on electrical fault on my e220 cabriolet, The left hand instrument cluster and rev counter have stopped working, sometimes all work ok on start up then go out during journey. before I book in to get fixed could it be a fuse or some thing easy to fix for me to do ?? any help much appreciated merry Christmas to all

Could be a dry joint in the cluster. It would be worth re-seating the plug on the back, this fixed my cluster problem.

Does sound like a dry joint/intermittent connection- ok when cold then failing when warming up- replace the fuse in the engine bay first (can look good but have corrosion/very fine cracks)- if no joy could be on the cluster itself as mentioned. OVP relay is another suspect for no tach but the ABS light usually comes on if this is faulty.
