Two good projects there ,i'd drop a 4.6/5.0 Rover in the blue car over the winter (nothing too exotic, just reliable) and get on the DTEC Class B and CSCC Future Classics grids for 2015.
Love the fact that it's road legal , endless possibilities for "testing"

If the CDL car were mine (and if i hadn't very recently bought other TVR product - it would have been) it would get a Challenge engine.
Beyond that, it would be appropriate IMHO to fit a Cerbera AJP8.
Of course logical route would be to fit a Rover - sustainable And "original" *
*Chevrolet engine's can also be persuaded fit

Interesting pair of cars. I can't say that I recognise the blue one although if I recall correctly, Greg Caton ran a blue factory car at CDL.
I am pretty sure that the white car is the ex WLA/Steve Hyde Tuscan that was bought by Gareth Evans and raced by him, run by CDL, and occasionally rented out when Gareth started to race his 400R with Steve Hyde which was also run by CDL. If I am right, I raced against this car and knew it from WLA days when I started in Tuscans with WLA.

The dark blue car was Tim Lamont's road car (owner ACT) and if I remember correctly had a 5.0l dry sumped cross bolted RV8 running fuel injection with ACT induction - wonder where that lump went.
Was a very nice car - STREBER built (Chris Smith) same time as mine (about 10 years ago) before she became Perrys, Andy's, ANOs
Very easily softened up to be tractable road toy, but admittedly they truly belong on the circuit
Id love another road legal one - race, test, track day or just play - perfect.

That Tuscan on the road is unforgiving....a roller skate; fun for about 30mins, then back & teeth jarring. Trust me, I know, it was mine.
Ride-wise mine is fine on the road, I'd go as far as to say very smooth and planted, but it does have Penske shocks that are worth a bob or two. Tramlining is another matter though. Fine on a smooth track but the steering gets tugged all ways on the road with bumps, white lines, cats eyes, camber etc. But still fairly usable on the road....and will be up for sale in a few months I think.

We thats reassuring from where I am at ....been putting mine together for just over two years now...replaced and retained every rose joint, retaining rear ARB ( pain as we have had to cut into the back end to move the space for the petrol tank back, and fabricate rear end protection and body support , and make a bespoke tank for the job), but been advised that an ARB might be usefull on a road car....so retained the option....again shocks are two way adjustable and sprung to suit....as are the bodies ....have some decent folks for when we set her up too.......and will be up for sale in a few months I think.

Trying hard to put something together that has all the right bits, and is safe...plus promote the beauty of these cars...lets see, rest assured I will finish it.....might not be March ...but will finish it irregardless ..not my way to do otherwise....
That will be 2.5 years ...and one or two hours, plus help from some v.decent folk!

Well that makes at least ten then by my reckoning! 
Two years ago I had a choice of maybe 3 Tuscan Challenge cars, all had an element of risk attached to them. Today I could buy as many as I would like (or could afford) and of varying stages, from current Championship winning cars to barn finds! How times change. We need to find more old or new drivers to race these or we're in danger of flooding the market with more cars than we have ready and willing buyers/racers!
