Lyon traffic

Hi,when driving through Lyon do any of you use the A46 E15 or A432 to miss the build up of traffic in the city , just planning my route and after last year stuck in traffic for ages I thought I`d ask more local`s what they do,thanks in advance. ade

If your coming from the north come off the A6 at Dijon for the A39 towards Dole, follow to the end at Bourg en Bresse where it joins the A40 towards Grenoble then join the A42 then A432 past the airport and catch the A46. It is just a loop to the east, not much difference in time on a good day and huge benefits when it is busy. This section is always empty, I think the toll is cheaper too.
