Any ideas on current discounts available? My local dealer has 3 used examples at around £50k which might make ordering brand new for a similar amount unachievable!

Also lead times, don't want one turning up in the height of winter!!!

I think I'll finally be ordering this week.
Been waiting ages for the "right" discount but I've ran out of patience.
I've come to the conclusion that there will always be a better deal to be had next quarter so as long as I can get a deal I'm happy with now why wait.
Managed to get just over 14% off (car is lightly spec'd with a list price of £60,655)
4 year PCP, £10K deposit, £498 a month.

I still haven't 100% decided on the colour but it's more than likely going to be mineral grey.
Will be ordering through Berry Chiswick.
Best price and the service has been spot on so far.

If I opt for one, I'm going to try and get a £58k spec'd car for under £50k; hitting that psychological barrier biggrin

Anyone know the latest lead time brand new? Don't really want one coming in the middle of winter!

mdianuk - Is that second hand or is it a manual with no spec as standard dct's are over £58k.

There are some good used cars around at the moment.
One in particular, looks fully spec'd and only £44K.
Done 28,000 miles but looks a steal at that price.

Well mines £52k and it hasn't got half the options this one has.
Would be more £55k-£56k if it did.

I'm looking at options at the moment and what I'm finding is that the ones around the 47K mark with around 10,000 miles on are in a shockingly bad condition :-( I'm assuming it's because they were both black and show every little mark.

Sorry, to clarify, brand new, manual only, with just £2160 in options (black wheels, carbon interior, headup display, harman kardon, sun protection glass). It was £58.9k, so £59k, not £58k.

Getting it for less than £50k may be tight, but I can wait to order in December if the dealer are figure chasing.

I looked at one for £48k with 3k on the clock and condition was excellent, but it doesn't make sense to buy at that price in no hurry if I can achieve similar new.

Unfortunately because of the way BMW produce their cars, you have to buy an M3 because you love it rather than expecting slow depreciation, as these will drop £5-10k a year no problem.

@DarylB90 First of all congrats on your car! Secondly, might seem like a silly questions, but was the deposit you put down all from the dealer (i.e the 14% discount) of did you put 10k of your own money, plus the dealer discount? Reason I ask are the monthlys are exactly where i need to be and will be ordering quickly!

Yes ive put down £10k of my own money plus 14% discount.
The car was £60,655, £52,011 after discount, 42,011 after my deposit.
GFV after 4 years is just over 25 grand.
£498 a month.

Thanks Daryl, much appreciated! Good luck with the car, I think the time has come for me to go buy one....

Ive just been offered a stock car with delivery miles to my spec which pretty much ticks every box for 22% off list...

Came in cheaper than what i have just been quoted on an M2 so not really sure which way to go.

What are ppls thoughts? all my mates seem to be saying go with the M4 however the M2 is yet to be driven and could be a really good car

It depends. Is this an unregistered or pre-registered car. If you are financing will they still offer you the 4.9% apr?

Well the M3's will hold there price better IMO, so the M2 with 4 seats may be better, depends on your needs IMO.
22% sounds like a give away to me though.

Not having a dig at all Chowie but would you be so kind as to clarify exactly what the car is. You say 'to your spec' but then say 'every box ticked' which suggests over 70k to start with. what si delivery miles. I'd say 20. Is it pre reg?

Its technically a pre reg

With Delivery Millage of no more than 20 miles

Dealer has around 29 cars left in the offer.

all different variations of spec.
However i have been offered

Yas Marina Blue
Adaptive Lights
HUD Display
HK Sterio
Carbon Roof

There is more, but i haven't had that confirmed

I was told they had 50 cars on this offer of which they now have 29 left all different specs and colours etc.

Im currently pondering on whether to keep my M2 order or ditch that and move to an M4.

This was just a brief phone call with there corporate sales man. Once i have this all confirmed i will go into more details on what they have.

But struck me as being a pretty decent deal if you can find your desired spec within there available cars.
