Hi Guys,hope ur all well,
anyone know the history on this GTS on ebay,im sure I spotted this some time ago,but its still not registered??

the guy mentions it was going for a IVA test, which it doesn't need, so he doesn't know to much about importing
it only needs a MOT, which I doubt he knows how to prep for

with a S/C and nitrous you need to make sure that its been set up by the right people, its not a popular combo even in the US and could throw up all sorts of trouble, with just about zero chance of sorting problems in the UK

run the VIN through carfax before you think about viewing it

mmm sounds questionable eh,good point about the IVA..its on a no reserve auction ending in a bit,if it were standard I may have put a cheeky bid in...bet it reappears on ebay

what year did they drop the fog light covers? I thought they were gone by 99 with only the first couple of years of gen 2's having, them but cant remember for sure which year they went.

on the first advert it mentions 33k miles, but its now jumped quite a bit

says its an 18year old car at one point too which would put it in the 96-97 range and consistent with the fog light covers and no passenger airbag switch in the dash, there also is missing weather stripping on the wheel liners and the hose for the wash wipe is routed wrong, other than that i'm sure its all good and the funny color is just down to camera white balance and exposure, but it doesn't look like any red i have seen on a viper!

That Viper is not a 92 due to no rear quarter mounted aerial and euro rear exit exhaust ...

Thanks for that - I thought it best to consult with those of you in the know before going any further - I'm a complete viper novice but keen to learn and to eventually own one. I will post VIN when available. In the meantime 'seasonal greetings'

No, it's a 'P' and the Viper was first registered in Austria and present owner has owned the vehicle since May 2006.

I've been watching the '92 viper as well, rather like the idea of a viper and 25k is affordable...
Is it worth a punt or "steer well clear"??
