The 'an evening with' program just demonstrates how good the chemistry is between the three is and how having such a tight script has taken the shine off the program a bit.

Looking forward to it.

We have tickets for the studio on the 28th which will be for the 2nd episode - never been before, anyone know what to expect?

Rumour has it that Jack Bauer is going to be the star in the car - biggrin
Colleague from work is going that day as well. Gonna bh slap her if I don't get my tickets for the 18th March.

A long day standing on your feet! When they get round to playing the VT, plonk yourself on the floor for a rest...

James May makes a decent brew.

As heard on Chris Evans Show this morning, Ed Sheeran is the SIARPC.

He's never driven a car before.

Make of that what you will.

Hopefully that he will roll the car and it catches fire with him inside.

"With Top Gear back on BBC2 this Sunday, car forum RevWheel has taken the unusual step of getting its discussion thread about the programme out of the way in advance."

What a strange forum that must be

I've applied for tickets at least five times and have never been selected, yet I know people who have been twice? How exactly does that work?

I've been on the waiting list for ever and ever but never been called up... I've only actually got tickets through contacts that get them.

Saw the new series episode being film on Wednesday and saw the track action too. Was a good day out and its a great opening show.

There is a lot of waiting around outside and you tend to be admitted into the hanger around 1-2pm. Expect filming to last for 4 hours or so. It gets pretty warm inside the hanger, so after being cold hanging around you are then toasty inside. A break half way through for tea/biscuits/crisps.

Leave bags in your car, you can't take them in. Phones are allowed in, but not to be on/used during filming. Everyone tends to stand around the main presenting area, I would stand to the right of the sofa (you will see where the blocks are where they place it) as that is where the star comes out.

Its a good day out and the boys are very funny in between takes.

The list for tickets resets every season, so if you applied in 2009 and are still waiting to be contacted, it isn't going to happen.

I applied last Friday and got an e-mail with tickets for the 28th within 5 minutes.
