Very amused by your post.
You start with "the war cry of the small brained" and in the next paragraph you write "but if the fans who did noticed the next episode"
Oh dear.
And the poster was correct, if you don't like it don't watch it. I just cannot get your point. I hate soaps, wife watches them, I don't. Loads of people like Downton abbey, never watched it as I hate period dramas.
Hope you are enjoying.
Oh God, I have to explain it to a simpleton. You start with "the war cry of the small brained" and in the next paragraph you write "but if the fans who did noticed the next episode"

Take Downton Abbey. Never watched it, don't plan to. But imagine you loved the series. And then to win ratings they made it stter and stter. Would you be fine with that or would you grumble on an internet forum about Period Dramas.
This is the same point. TG was great. They started chasing ratings with not funny falling over and set ups. People grumbled that it was getting st. The TG fanbois kept saying "its perfect" when they were wrong. Hence the inane and tedious "don't watch it then" line.
It's like saying "My wife, she was a stunner and clever. Now she's just fat and stupid" So I'm divorcing her, rather than hoping she can go back to how she was. There's investment in the series people want it to be good. NOt st *(well aside from the small brained who want more st falling over)
Current series is so far a step back to the better series of the past. I daresay it's the criticism on forums that has made TG up it's game again. And it's far far better for it.
Why watch if you don't like though?
You're coming across as a Massive troll.
PS, to be called a simpleton by a you is an utter pleasure. Thank you.

I don't watch movies sorry; I have heard of neither.
What a very odd person you are. You apparently watch television but have never watched a film?
(And, ironically, Keifer Sutherland is best known for a television series. Although his father is a film actor)

I have more important things to Google rather than an actor ape! (I assume the star is an actor)
And yet it appears the aforementioned 'more important things' aren't more important than spouting tripe on an internet forum? Edited by JonRB on Sunday 1st February 21:45

Exactly, if your time is so precious don't comment on the Internet about a nobody you don't know.
Quite. If I didn't know who someone was I'd either shrug and move on, or if my interest was piqued enough I would google them. I certainly wouldn't go to the trouble of proudly proclaiming my ignorance on a public internet forum. spooderman said:

You could google him instead of showing your ignorance then.

Jesus Christ. Even if you have never heard of Keifer Sutherland or the character Jack Bauer, you must have heard of his father Donald Sutherland. It's not like it's a common surname.

To be called a simpleton is because the hat fits
The current series is pretty good. I imagine you hate it because it's not like the India special.

Two very famous actors that have been in classic films.
I've never read any Russian books but I've heard the names of the famous writers.
I enjoyed it again. This series has kicked off well.
Top Gear does bring in way too much negative attention. The same people post every week how much they dislike the programme.
If you don't like it, have the common sense not to waste an hour on Sunday night watching it. Also don't waste further time to tell everyone on every forum that you are a member of.
I'm sure you can find some other constructive way of passing a Sunday night.

Enjoyed that a lot. Felt like a return to TG of old
+1. I'd like the Bentley out of those threeClarkson was keen to mention something on the lines of a tarted up VW/AUDI. I do not see the Bentley like that. Throughout the show, all three TG fellas were keen to appraise all the cars more or less equally. Wise because had they given any of the three marques suppliers the hump for some reason, maybe access to that particular marque's product would be denied in the future.
Funny no piano out of the sky fell on any of the three cars in tonight's show. Top Gear has had that accident happen on several occasions in the past. Such bad luck...

Starting a fire with petrol is a good way to teach kids how to kill themselves - can't believe that made the cut
I saw a programme where a man shot someone with a gun, then robbed a bank, then jumped into his car which had been parked on zig-zags, then broke the speed limit escaping a pursuing police car.Surprised that made the cut.

And there it is. The war cry of the small brained
Re Soaps. I don't watch them either. But if the fans who did noticed that the next episode would have aliens landing and flying cars and people falling over for laughs. I'd expect them to grumble and perhaps a thread on a soap website would be the ideal place to do so.
So I'll re-phrase your request
"If you don't like TG please don't write it on here as I can't bear any criticism whatsoever of my favourite show and I'll cry"
Maybe you could start 2 threads "Post in here if you love TG without reason" and "Post you critique of TG in here"
I'll guess which will have the most interesting posts

Why comment if all you can do is belittle other posters using crappy sarcasm and lying about not watching soaps.
