Heading off to look at a silver elise tomorrow, not my favourite colour, but not the biggest issue either. Wondering has anyone done one with a ferrari gto style yellow stripe across the front and white roundels?

Sounds like it might look good.

Thanks

I always fancied a white Exige with 2 yellow stripes and yellow wheels as per the Judd powered car run by the Dome team a few years ago at Le Mans. Silver would not be for me, but each to there own.

Thanks for the reply. Silver's not my cup of tea either. Just looking for ways to make it look better.

And there's so many silver ones for sale.
Was thinking smething similar myself today, but not sure at 61 a silver car with big wide stripe would look right.
Really fancy blue (or yellow or orange)

Doesn't work on the Ferrari, the strip just looks odd and the roundels too small.
Big bold strip central and longitudinally or alternatively bottom half respray in contrasting colour.

It doesn't work well on the 599 largely because it's a big, ugly, angular thing. I think it works much better on the more delicate, curvy 250 GTO, which is more similar to the S1 Elise at the front.

That's the one. The 599 doesn't look great, but they're awful looking. The yellow and white might brighten up a silver elise. Just wondered it anyone had seen one, also where you'd get the stickers made?

Thanks

Why not just wrap the whole car in a colour you do like?

Why not wait until a car that you really want comes along? It took me 18 months of looking to find the right car in the right colour for me. 7 years later I still get a buzz from looking at it.

I think silver can work as it is a blank canvas. What about Martini stripes?

I have always thought that Martini colors look great on an Exige...
