Here are my family of Pugs.

1986 205 Automatic with under 11500 miles from new.

1987 205 XLD at the opposite end of the spectrum with just under 501000 miles. Unfortunately I have covered all of these miles except the delivery mileage of 21.

1994 205 Mardi Gras Turbo Diesel. Mileage around 112000 miles.

1995 205 Mardi Gras Diesel, mileage just under 40000 miles.

1996 205 Diesel, mileage just under 11500.

Motronic 3.1?
Makes sense to get rid of all the unreliable German part of the engine!
Miles built my engine back in 2004! and converted it to mi16. It was his 3rd 'professional' conversion! He also installed the emerald set up before I finally went to tb's.
You're in good hands!

2.5 hours is nothing - he's had a couple of people come over from Holland & Germany for work on theirs over the years I believe smile

Believe me when I say the extra time involved will be worth it for the work Miles does smile

I know it's a daft question ... But what's the difference between the standard bonnet and the auto one?
There is reason behind the question
Thanks

Auto has a raised section. Gives clearance to under bonnet components, very helpful if fitting carbs or ITBs...
maybe not the best pics but:

My old 1.1 206 which is now my sisters. Sold the masked headlights and rear lights though. Was a great first car.

Some fantastic cars on here, really making me want a 205 or 106 Rallye! Here's my 306 1.9 D Turbo. I know it's nothing special but I'm absolutely in love with it! Most fun I've had in a diesel for sure!

Ready for its trip to Pug1off. I am ashamed to say that it has done more mileage in a trailer whilst I have owned it that it has on the road. I will try and change that this summer.
