Dr feelgood must be one of the greatest albums from the 90's.

It's nothing big or clever just a awesome fun rock album.

I wasn't a big fan of a lot of their stuff before sempiternal. A few tracks yeah sure, but a lot of it was too angsty for me.

Agree about their new stuff being a bit more appealing smile

Looking forward to it now, should be a good gig. Set list looks decent. Gonna have a listen to Pvris and Neck Deep tonight to get a feel for them.

I bought the albums of Neck deep and PVRIS andBoth were excellent. Each very different to eachother and BMTH. Will be good to have all sorts to hear.

Neck Deep are pop punk. Pop punk seems to be having a bit of a revival, it was huge when I was a kid (like 1998 to 2005 ish). They seem quite good, I've also come across Trash Boat (excellent) and Teenage Bottlerocket (also excellent) this year.

Pvris are actually pretty damn cool. It's like synthpop/electropop with post-hardcore-almost bits. Like a sort-of heavy-ish version of Lorde/Lana del Rey.

Both are a bit random for a BMTH gig, but I guess BMTH have changed quite a bit anyway.

We seen pvris supporting lower than atlantis.

I've got The Darkness coming up in Leeds on the 9th - will be the 6th or 7th time I've seen them.

Still hankering for Mumford and sons tickets on the 12th in Leeds...not sure I can face £65+ on re-sellers but might have to has to be standing tickets too....

So the Bring Me queue is wrapped entirely around the venue. Last time I saw it like this was Linkin Park in 2003.

Any idea what just happened at the end of the pvris set?

edit -

Pvris - I thought they were pretty good live actually, matched up well with the newer BMTH stuff. Singer had a decent voice and could add a bit of aggression to it. Songs got a little bit repetitive but still enjoyable. 7/10

Neck Deep - I don't know if it was just me but I could barely hear the guitars, definitely could hear any bass. It was just drums and some sort of vocals. I didn't think they were that great, but all the kids seemed to enjoy it. Made me feel a bit old and out of touch (I was only born in 89!). 6/10

BMTH - Proper show. Lights, lasers, screens, smoke, sparks, streamers and confetti. Plus some decent size pits and walls of death. Plenty of crowd interaction. Ollie nailed the vocals. Band were tight. Seriously enjoyable performance. 9.5/10

Old and out of touch, you should try being into pop punk but born in '74.

It's good when the bands age well and adjust there style and lyrics rather than go the blink 182 route still singing about the same stuff they did when they were teenagers.

What did happen at the end of pvris?

We were at eagles at death metal and some young chaps mrs had a turn and they were on the barrier.

There was a interesting 10 mins where you could see he was mulling over going to see if she was ok or staying on the barrier.
