Obviously the automotive equivalent of cloud gazing - but a striking old thing isn't it?
I rather suspect that a petrol engine would be more in line with the Jaguar business model than a diesel.
Maybe wish is the father of the thought there

That's not an LMP car, that's a closed-cockpit, closed-wheel F1 car.
By the time you'd made it fit the regs and put it in a wind tunnel it wouldn't look anything like that!
At the moment the Nissan LMP is looking like a much more interesting car - see the coverage over on Mulsanne Corner Dec and Jan.
