Yeah right.
I'm really not sure i understand the ridiculousness of the suggestion . A track day is whatever you make of it , you will not fall off JUST because it is a trackday. You will not crash JUST because it is a trackday. I use the one bike only to ride on roads and many trackdays, some for leisure and some for work .I do just swap bodywork over if doing several in close succession , and often , like BN did the day he rode out on R1 with everyone, nail the number plate on and use it in "daylight MoT" mode, as I have done with an 04 Blade, an '08 Blade, an Rsv4 Factory and now the S1000rr.
It is, after all, just another length of Tarmac which happens to be joined up, providing the benefit of familiarity each time round and without the oncoming obstacles, lampposts , trees, 4"kerbs and dry-stone walls.....or am I missing something?

I've already explained this before chap... Simply I don't want to risk my nice shiny road bike as I've got to the stage on track for me to go faster means pushing harder and I would rather buy a cheap stter for that in case I do bin it ... I won't care then as Loon mentioned to me earlier. Had it been my old R1 or such I wouldn't have been such a pussy about going on track but this blade has cost me a few quid.
Whether anyone thinks it is right or wrong that is my decision.

I would however contend that for you to go faster, having seen a YouTube on board from Cadwell, pushing yourself any harder would be the wrong thing to do. You would most definitely not necessarily achieve anything from that, but some basic coaching, and, of course, time in the saddle , for which there can be no substitute.......chicken and egg, I guess ?
Anyway, glad to see you're about.
