So there I was, Sunday morning working at my desk preparing for next week. Outside the weather was crisp and the sky was blue.

One of my young daughters said I should take the Ferrari out since it was a nice morning. I replied I haven’t time as I have work to do.

The conversation progressed along the lines if you want to have nice things you have to work for them… The response was ‘you are always working.’

Did make me think…

It's the balance of life/pleasure/work which majority never seem to get right, including myself.

When my daughter says "can we take the racing car out?" ...she's 6 by the way. I do it barring heavy rain/snow/gritting. Life's too short, I feel fortunate to be where I am and the memories for both me and my daughter are priceless. smile

I do about 10k mpa in mine, the only time I'll avoid using it is on boring motorway journeys.

If the weather is good I'll try to use it. Like many above I'm usually too busy woth work or social engagements. Sad really! I guess if we ever have kids it'll get used even less.

My FIL has a 911, a TVR, a Marcos and a Cobra however I only every see him driving his old E36 Estate frown It's such a shame, I'd love to blow the cobwebs of any of them!

PS. not really 'Supercars' I know.

Sam rarely gets away from Kings Road so I'd disagree, Marylebone is an epic journey for him smile

My FF is my DD. Nursery run 4 days a week. Nights out etc etc. does up to 1000 miles a month. I bought it to drive - was fed up looking at 2 seater sitting in the garage....
