Dodge Viper wanted

Hi all, I'm new to the site and have been advised by Adrian that you are the Guys to ask! I am currently looking for a Dodge Viper, ideally Gen. 2 Coupe but would consider all options. I'm from the North East of England. Happy to travel for the right car. I have already viewed 3 Vipers but I guess I'm a bit picky on condition and history. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. no much out there at the mo only a few cars on the usual classifieds, youll never see loads of GTS's for sale in the UK

there's over priced FE, James at atlantic and Dave's GTS if he decides to sell it

The Atlantic car is ridiculously overpriced, yes its had a lot of work done to it but that car will be sitting around forever at that price unless a novice buyer comes along who buys it on a whim.

Where in the North East are you from? I'm from oop North and hoping to locate a gen 3 at a sensible price in a few months. I don't know where some people get their values from, there have been 2 convertibles for over £55k recently! Even with the poor exchange rate at the moment you can still import a nice US one for well under £40k

There were a couple of gen 2 blue GTS's for sale last year for ages around £35k IIRC. but there never seems to be any when you actively start looking. I'd say you've been very lucky to find 3 to look at so far - you must have covered some miles.

good luck with the search, I'm not ruling out a European purchase as gen 3's can be had for under £30k if you get lucky

Hi guys, thanks for all your replies. The car is for myself, I work for a high performance garage in Teesside. I really do not have a set spec or budget. Looking for a genuine car in top condition. Never thought to look on the German site so I'll give that a go next. I have a car to see this week too so will keep you updated.

All their Vipers seem to be ultra low miles and reasonably priced

Exchange rate is good too (12.11) which means the red GTs with 2000 miles is under £33k

This one is available from a Club Member, Known History, believed to be the Only Gen IV 2009 ACR (american club racer) in the UK.
Its stupid quick, new front tyres, Neil is looking to sell

I only know of one other but that's not an 09
