York power cuts

Anyone shed some light on what is going on? Before Christmas we lost power to the street ( Blossom St) three or four times. Come in this morning and all the power in YO23 and YO24 is out . ( incidentally making the run into work down Tadcaster Road a damn sight quicker and smoother!!!)

Most annoyingly when the power came back on last year it fried a couple of circuit boards on the telephone board costing us £900 to replace!!

Flicks back on at 8.40am so we run round checking servers etc, only to then drop again ten minutes later!!!!

Apparently its an underground cable that has failed... Had to be fixed twice...lol

Yep my cab ride to the station this morning was markedly quicker with all the traffic lights out!
