I need a satnav for UK and Europe with traffic info.

The above seems about perfect for the money.

Anyone got any experience or comments about the model?

The new Go Models can't take custom POIs - which means you can't use PocketGPSWorlds camera database (much more accurate than TomToms) or upload your own, The other complaints I can recall are you can't tell it to avoid part of a route or have an itinerary

It is worth reading though PocketGPSWorld's TomTom forum (look for the GO Models - confusingly also has Start models with same number)

Thanks for the link - I'll have a good read of that.

Its OK, but 'recent places' is several clicks. The battery is useless and last about 1/2 hour, and it doesnt show the journey time left together with mileage left. I'm on my second now as the first wouldnt update at all without crashing.
Also there are very few option adresses unlike the predecessor so you have to hope the address is recognised first time.

I bought a Garmin Nuvi 2599 in the end. Already been a godsend.
