...It's these fkers:

http://www.gumtree.com/p/motorsports-tickets/le-ma...

So basically 3 x the 2nd most wanted campsite, 3 x the "we ballsed up M-B" and a pair of tribune tickets - all taken away from real fans so some chump can presumably make his trip free.

Please can some loyal PHer buy them with a bouncy cheque, piss on them then send him them back?

These tickets were on e.bay and obviously taken down by e.bay today. He will, I`m sure get his money due to demand. I have accepted 2 camping tickets for Epinettes allocated to me by ACO .I have been an ACO member for ten years and asked for Garage Vert where I have been for last four years. I got Epinettes!! I have now hopefully bought two Garage Vert but at double the face value ,and that`s from a third party company.
My Epinettes (two pitches) I have accepted are now available at £250 the pair. Yes they are more expensive than face value, but what do I do? Maybe give them back and have someone try to sell them on at £145+ per pitch, as that seller was expecting.
Perhaps I should just keep quiet until May and see what I can get for my two tickets then.

Yep this person obviously bought these to sell on at a profit, but still can't believe anyone these days would actually pay more than face value for GE tickets when they can be purchased on the gate. The ACO are supposed to be trying to stop touts so perhaps they will take action against this rather dubious person, well lets hope so

As he or she is an ACO member, hopefully they'll act. Fat chance, tho'.

Regarding the GE Tickets, many newbies do not realise they can buy them at the gate, thats why these aholes get away with charging outragous prices.

I would like to see the camping tickets shoved up the sellers Arse and set fire to. rage

How come he has the physical tickets already, I didn't think they were sent out yet (at least I don't have mine in my hands).

Are his prices really that bad (I don't know him!)? I know there's a hefty mark up on face value but the majority of camping tickets are distributed via the "official agents" and most of them mark-up the camping, then bundle it with a minimum of two £50 GA tickets priced at £80 each. If you could find an official agent with numbered Houx tickets still available, you'd still end up paying more commission buying from them rather than buying from this guy and picking up two GA on arrival. And I suspect the official agents are getting tickets at a decent discount in the first place.

... is the fact that the ACO allocate the best tickets to the agents, before putting what's left on sale to their members and finally the general public. Surely it's not beyond their ability to create a decent sales website, give members first dibs then put the rest on sale to the fans.

I'll put my hard hat on now.

As the seller appears to have already got these tickets he must have got them direct from the ACO, so no mark up then, he is obviously a tout and trying to make as much money as possible

Yes it appears this guy is a tout and taking the biscuit, especially with the Houx camping.
But please do not compare the likes of him with official agents. The first thing to realise, is that agents DO NOT get preferred rates on tickets. The GS and camping are the same cost to them as any other customer. The GE discount received is only due to the volume of tickets ordered. The same would be offered to individuals if they bought in bulk. However, the ACO charge a flat fee (minimum 4800 euro) for the privelege to be called an ACO agent and receive a guaranteed allocation. This fee needs to be redeemed with ticket sales. The UK have more agents than any other european country. This is good for us as that means the bulk of the best tickets are distributed across British customers. Gives everybody more choice. If it wasn't for the agents, then your only real option would be to fight for the best seats/campsites with the rest of Europe on the ACO front line.
So agents are not creaming off the top like touts, they are running businesses. Lets hope they keep doing it!

Rant over.

This. I have bought two T34 tickets and booked my tunnel crossing. No fking clue where I'm camping though! Not been able to secure the same place I've camped the last five or so years, and I tried four of the UK operators.

I swear its getting harder and harder to book LM every year....
