Do the TomTom GO - 5000 in particular pick up road closures. I.e. overnight closures of say the M3 or M4 or the slip roads onto them? Or do they show the road a running freely with no traffic?

I mean this in particular where they do 10pm to 5am closures not long term closures or roads are closed NOT blocked by an accident at short notice.

Thanks

David

My 1005 does, although sometimes shows them as lane closures until you're right on top of them.

My GO 6000 picks them up and routes me round them. It isn't always instantly up to date and closures of minor roads aren't always picked up but it's good for motorway/dual carriageway closures.

On the TomTom website you can see the current live traffic information which is sent to the PNDs (but they can only see a limited radius). I suspect the answer is "usually" (assumes the closure information is correctly put in)
