TVRCC Herts & Beds: Monthly meet reminder 18th Jan 2015
Discussion
Hi folks
Just a quick reminder that the 1st monthly meet of the
year (2015!) will be on the 18th of Jan starting at 1130.
The address for the venue is...
Shuttleworth (Old Warden),
Aerodrome
North Biggleswade,
Bedford SG18 9EP
01767 627927
http://www.shuttleworth.org/
Google Maps link - Link to the route from Tudor Oaks to
our new venue - http://goo.gl/maps/Tzhtr
Parking on the day is signed up especially for us - we
are opposite hanger 6, so just follow the TVRCC parking
signs.
Thanks!
Alex
PS - Sorry, not able to make this month as (still) working in Sweden

Something wrong with you Herts and Beds boys Cambridge had 8 Tivs there when I went over on Sunday plus a couple of interlopers.
Several roof off champions as well but they did look cold.
Be interesting to see the end result of the plastic dipping in the flesh, pictures I've seen to date look quite impressive.
Does it have to be a matt finish or can it be glossy?

Hi Kev, T4NGO is the guy to speak to about dipping. I've seen his Sag in 3 different colours so far!Does it have to be a matt finish or can it be glossy?
My favourite was the White, which was a more of a satin finish than matt (It's probably a different colour today!)
You could have a gloss finish if you lacquer it, but then you can't peel it off; kinda defeats the object

Weather was ok actually, dry and bright but a bit 'fresh'
Smallest turnout I've seen for a while; A Sag, Chim and a Griff (and some old Datsun )
Had a good chinwag tho' and a masterclass in plastidipping. Quite fancy the Zed in matt Blue now...
