And while we're on the subject of donkey, I just spotted this. Quite a rare beast.

Oh - and it's LHD, automatic and probably quite flexible. And £45k.
Steadman are fairly well thought of - certainly not some back street hatchet job.

In the light of the current madness, 45k for a open Ferrari V12 tourer seems almost reasonable.

That messed with my head for a while.
I've concluded that the car must be a small mock up for dimensions etc?

Chaps!

Been a while, may or may not remember me, haven't been on thread in a few years.

Well as of Friday just gone I've upgraded from the trusty 1.5 Auto Civic to a rather glorious E34 540i.

Insurance is a bit interesting at 21, but I've got no mortgage and I have a full time job so what else should I be spending it on other than a big thirsty V8?

Funny.

Did you get the story that goes with it?

I can imagine it being along the lines of a car he loved (perhaps his first flash car) with a magnificent engine, breaking down and rusting before his eyes before eventually having to be written off due to electrical/rust problems. All the while, the engine worked perfectly (and looks good) and it now serves as a reminder that every component of a product needs to up to scratch in order that the product succeeds (cue the option to move from cars to management speak about the weakest link in a chain, theory of constraints etc).

Saw Jeremy and his rapid orange at wings and wheels on Sunday. Always a pleasure although I don't think I have convinced him of the wonders of Seat TDi-ing just yet...

Braddo the guy looks like a Dutch version of Toto Wolff. I'm not sure flash is in his vocabulary!

I didn't mean for 'flash' to be derogatory, perhaps substitute with 'nice'. smile
