Any one recognise this idle control valve and what vehicle it was originally fitted to?

Would appear so. They've used a piece of silicon hose to connect the vaccum cylinder to the valve.

Looks like it is for TBs, convention IACVs just bypass the throttle body as all cylinders are fed from the plenum. With TBs individual plumbing is required for each runner. So it is unlikely to be a production part nor for a stock type production engine. IMO of course.

Depends if he wants the assembly or just the valve. If the latter, it's probably from a production car...

Correct. Not interested in the vacuum tank, just want to identify the vehicle that valve came from.

I'll be making my own tank as I have six rather than four throttle bodies.

Pretty confident that valve is from a production car. The cost of production-isation of a bespoke valve would be fairly significant at low volumes.
