Same weave as the rear wing. grain running in the opposite direction for the opposing sides. All carbon, fit is spectacular. PM if interested part will be built in the U.S. so shipping will be required. I have images but they are to big for the forum. Lee

Im essex/suffolk boarder.

Andy. How long does it take, I've always wanted to know about carbon and how it's made and this could be worth the trip.. Dom

Russ! Your still here. Greatly appreciate you using your option to send me the side scoops that I paid for last year or the tracking number to the shipment that you never sent!

For the attn of K Wright
Scoops were sent to you i had all the receipts at the time but I didn't hear from you for over 2 months to say that you had not recieved them by which time I had assumed you had
I have sent out a large number of these scoops all over the world, not everybody acknowledge they have recieved them but after a couple of weeks I assume they have, some post on PH to say how pleased they are and what a great fit others email direct.
So I would expect to hear from somebody who had not recieved them within a couple of weeks not months
As you can appreciate I would need a large file just for postage recipes
It took you over a month to sort out the payment as you couldn't seem to grasp what a bacs or iban number was, then you send a bank cheque took 3 weeks for that to clear
As mentioned previously I will send you another set when you pay for the postage
Out of a large no of scoops and other items sent, YOU are the only person in the world that hasn't recieved them (I consider that a little suspicious ) considering it took over 2 months before you contacted me.

To cut to the chase
you send the postage cost, I will send another set of scoops
PH members interested in this thread please take note of K Wrights 3rd attachment which confirms my reply
I now see this as a potential scam, so be aware if this guy wants to purchase anything from you.
Regards Russell

Potential scam for what Russ? A spare set of scoops? Ken has been on this forum for ages, he contributes a lot, gets quality bespoke parts made, you seriously think he's trying to scam you out of a set of scoops??

I think the pair of you could have handles this too better.

Ken, you should have contacted Russ sooner. Russ, if you're sending loads of these out you should retain records, it's not difficult to scan and have a folder of electronic copies.

Imo.

Dead scoop correct.
The scoops are something I do in my spare time I don't keep records after a couple or three weeks.
As far as I am concerned if something hasn't arrived after a couple of weeks then I would be in touch with the seller and not waited 2 or 3 months.
Solution to this problem as previous post.
Otherwise I consider this matter closed

A quick inquiry to the shipping company? Here they keep records for 3 years. If I buy anything from anywhere I get the parts and if there is any problem I use a tracking number.

I have proof that I've paid for the parts and you have a photo of a box with my name on it.

Send the parts, carefully packaged or send my money back. The extra money that I included with the original check should more than cover the postage, if not I'll send it after the parts arrive (not inclined to send more money). If you don't want to do this you can send the refund to my Pay Pal account (ask your wife for help with this, she uses this on her website).

This is a crime and I will report it.

Russell,

I've already sent you 398 GBP for a 300 GBP set of scoops. How much more "postage" will be required?

Sorry to butt in guys, but this needs to be in private not on the forum. There have been too many posts on the same subject.

All i can say is i know Russ and I have never questioned his honesty. If they have gone missing in the post, then that happens now and then, so lets not get all frustrated and stressed about it. we all have a common interest so lets keep things calm.

Dom,

Trust me, I would normally employ a more private pattern of communicating as you've asked for but I've had no luck with my offline efforts. The link above was Russell's last communication with me prior to blocking my email (the one that reports he is considering his options).

It has been my goal during this exchange that I get what I've paid for: nothing more....but absolutely nothing less. If he has mailed the parts the tracking number will allow me to query the transit company. As it stands this is not possible. In the USA transit companies retain records for 3 years.

My apologies to you and the other forum members,

Ken
