I was driving from Tong and approaching Armley Gyratory a few weeks back, I crossed the line between my lane and the bus lane with two wheels just before it ended (and in readiness to pull over into the left lane as I was towing, a bit long and cumbersome) and the buggers have fined me for it, watch out for that one if you drive that way.
I'm the black blob in the bottom left of the pic, I was actually a bit further on than that (looking at their supplied pic) and just about 10 metres from the end of the lane.

fking money grabbing traffic Nazis!

I bet buses don't get punished for straddling out of the bus lane! It's just all about easy money now sadly.

Yep. You also get fined for doing the same on Kirkstall Rd at the viaduct lights heading out of town if you want to turn into the Shell garage.

In case you haven't noticed it, your fine will appear to say £60 in large print but if you continue reading it the print gets smaller and says if you pay within x days it's only £30. My time limit for the lower fine had actually expired before I noticed it but I sent them £30 anyway and never heard owt back. hehe

Cheeky feckers. Is the camera right at the end of the lane, so may appear to the council that you were in it all of the way down?

I didn't think a mobile pic of a lane camera pic would come out so well, but there you go:

You can see the line where the bus lane tarmac and white dividing line ends. I think they make it £30 so you'll just pay it, if it was more then it would be worth contesting it. I may have done this, but it was a mates van I was borrowing and it was easier for him just to pay it, get it from me and not arse around. Took him a few minutes of WTF? over his cornflakes that morning wink

All i'm saying is watch out yourselves!
