The trailer makes it loo good, love Gambon.

Can we keep it to UK showing only, so knobs don't come in with posts like, 'Ooo this weeks episode is good'...yadda yadda.

There's a fair bit of Dr Who going on, Ecclestone, Gambon, Verity Lambert, woman on plane (Turn left mystic and played Chan Tho alien), the Master's wife.

I think that it would be better set in a recognisable country; if the slightly supernatural aspect had been fked off and it had been better.
The cinematography was spectacular and the budget was obviously huge.
Arne Dahl, The Bridge etc small budgets but you needed to know what was happening next.
Not this.

I really liked Hit and Miss.

I missed the opening 4mins, and puzzled over the place what is the premise of this place, it's a Norwegian Island in the artic circle that has a mine mined out, how come the "British" Police have some sort of jurisdiction? I get we could have a British research centre up there, and I say British are there many American detectives working for the Met? Or the British/Americans shoehorned in "Tucci's agent says he's available but his cockerney is Dick van Dyck"?

Was a bit slow, and deliberately quirky, the Sherif a bit too out there to be believe able.

I really enjoyed it. It's certainly has a mysterious air to it, I'm not at all sure where it's going plot wise, and there's lots of wtf moments, but I'm looking forward to the next one.

Sheriff making himself sick..? Was it simply as he'd been drinking....?

I hope it doesn't end up all supernatural, if it does I'll get bored quick.

I really enjoyed that. The Sheriff is a bit off isn't he? How come he was watching that bloke being eaten by the polar bear at the start?!

Yes, that's what I assumed. He'd been drinking "off duty" and now he was back on.

I enjoyed it. It seems to be setting everyone up with motives in that episode. Hope it doesn't go all supernatural though..

The houses looked awesome, would love to visit a place like that!
