Right quick question, I was travelling along the M25 yesterday clockwise from about Junction 15 heading towards south Mimms.

On one of the bridges (not sure which junction it was near) I noticed a man wearing a High Vis jacket standing on there, there was a tripod on the left (his right), could that have been a speed trap?

I'm assuming he'd have had to have been operating it no if it was a speed trap? Or are there new automatic ones? I didn't see him holding anything in his hand but I could be wrong, although I 100% saw a tripod

It was in the late morning yesterday, don't suppose anyone travelled on the M25 yesterday and seen the man I'm talking about?

It was me. I'm a surveyor.

Not really, but it probably was a surveyor's laser on a tripod.

I hope so as I was driving a bit naughtily (not too naughty though).

I'm hoping someone on here might have done a similar journey and seen what I saw.

Was it a tripod similar to those from war of the worlds? Can't blame you for driving fast to get away, though you'd be more likely to see them the Woking side of the M25.
