And finally!! Great car. Driven to Spain twice and France once - covered a lot of miles but well worth the experience. Love it to bits

Fair play that man. Well done Russell. 3,000 miles a year over summer months sounds good to me. I'm doing something similar myself although its becoming more difficult with a bigger stable.Have said I will drive the McLaren more as it is a keeper and is actually very practical as supercars go

yeah nothing wrong with keeping it for the summer months but SO good to see 16k miles, with dry miles theirs no reason why you can't keep it that mint easily, takes a little effort but some of us enjoy keeping them that way ( me included) i have a modified z4m roadster which is kinda like MY version of motoring nirvana (in my price range) that I've had from around 900 miles old/8 years now, its in similar condition but also gets used properly.totally beautiful .... i LOVE the carbon sills, such a nice way to break up the lines and give a real aggressive edge, its perfect!
I'll never forget the day I was filling up my car and a chap in a 16M pulled up. At the time i didn't realise what I was staring at to be honest. I asked if he minded me having a quick look and he obliged. He explained the F1 heritage, hence the name and gearboxes etc etc.
When i asked him if he had anything else he nonchalantly replied 'I always have a Lamborghini in the garage', when I enquired it was a SV!!
Bishops Waltham garage, about 4 years ago.... I wonder if he is a PHer? Early 50's, was heading up the M3 and stopped for a quick spot of juice.
Happy memories!
Sorry chap, bit off topic!

Has that 16m at Dick Lovetts gone already? I was just about to use it as evidence for hiking up the sum insured on mine with Lockton's , but it seems to have vanished from their site. Maybe I'll actually have to get up off my backside and get someone to value it then.
Yep, I will need to do the same.Gassing Station | Ferrari V8 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
