Steve Rance has just opened a great thread where pristine examples of fantastic cars are on display.

Garages are not just about cocooning shiny toys though. How about a thread showing the creations that you have made from the an angle that people never normally see. I'll kick-off by offering up my last 'Ring' toy. It was a 2 year renovation project. Unfortunately for my Mrs though, pretty much every one of my cars ends up getting similar treatment. I've still not found a cure for my illness laugh

I got booted off after 3 laps due to some scrutineer claiming my headlight mounted ram-air inlet needed to be removed laugh

Just read the whole of CliveGTR's thread about his 962 GT3 combo; that bloke has some serious skills bow

I really need to rename this thread 'where have all the enthusiasts gone'. Tis a shame; I really find it hard to believe that a nation, once full to the brim with tinkerers, has decided to down tools and concentrate efforts in other more meaningful areas of life such as contrast stitching and the like. Is the sum total of this forum now limited to one thread remotely catering for those yearning for some serious spanner twirling antics???

Im with you matey, alas it does seem that the 'contrasting stitch brigade' have taken over the asylum.

Or maybe we have just all run out of things to say?

Noooo this is a great tread....actually after not having a decent car for 10 years,(excluding the m3 I had for a couple of years) I got a 997, I'm amazed at how easy everything is to do on the car as all to have to do is an Internet search, my response to ...how do you....? Is now just to google it....BUT all the how to stuff is usually American... So yes do English people not fix cars any more...
