I do actually, when people say "The Establishment" they often mean different things.

Does he mean all politicians, business leaders, the church, the royal family - what exactly?

I see you include Entertainers in this list.

Anyone, who went to the right school(s), and whose position in society is based on the spoon that they were born with, and not hard work from the gutter (usually)

Entertainers are only part of the establishment, in that they are invited to join, but only as associate members

Thank you for the link.

Where does all those records on childrens homes being hidden til 2056 fit with the Snooper's Charter?

Because 'If you've done nothing wrong you have nothing to hide' after all.

While their secrets will be kept hidden away until long after they die they can't even manage to keep the names of the alleged victims out the media. fking s.

I don't normally have much truck with tin-foil hat-wearers, but that does seem like a very 'useful' mistake to have made.

It's not a mistake, is it. It's a clear message to any other victims.

Presumably some of the other perpetrators are still alive, then.

Perhaps that's why Notts. police could be following Operation Daybreak whistle blower Melanie Shaw around and inviting themselves into her house and sitting on her settee?

Perhaps they're safeguarding her as she's a vulnerable victim of child sexual abuse in care homes?

I'm sure their safeguarding of her has nothing to do with Notts. PCC Paddy Tipping previously being involved in Childrens Social Work while he was with the Council in Nottinghamshire, in a way not dissimilar to the way disgraced South Yorks. PCC Shaun Wright was previously in Child Social Care in Rotherham. They're both Labour too aren't they?

Cannot the incompetent, insular idiots who perpetrated this grievous error be sued on a personal basis? Defies belief.

Back in Rotherham.....

'One survivor "Gemma" told Sky News: "It's still going on if not worse, because now they're having to hide'

http://news.sky.com/story/1416946/rotherham-victim...

In addition, I saw a tweet from one of the Exaro associated investigators stating that he starting a new investigation into another person in power, very much alive.

It's a desperate day if plod aren't actively dealing with this.

We now have a name for the Social Worker at Risky Business that spoke out. We don't know who the Paedos are, but we have the name of a decent person that tried to do something about it. smile

honestly, double or triple that number wouldn't surprise me, 2000 kids is roughly one every 3 or so days, on the scale of it that sounds like a high number but when you break it down to the number of abusers it's going to be pretty low especially as they're likely to work through the friends of the girls and so expand it easily.

The National Crime Agency has now taken over the investigation into child sexual exploitation in Rotherham and is in the preliminary stage of its inquiry.
So who is dealing with this immediately at a local level? Local plod and local PCC will be looking over their shoulders at the "National Crime Agency", there is a risk that the problem will fall unresolved between the various agencies concerned.

Not looking good for Grenville Janner.

CPS are saying they have to regard his age and health.

But to quote Grenville Janner, "age or infirmity should be no bar from prosecution".

There's a headline on Exaro about Ken Clarke. I assume that's related to the prosecution against Ben Fellows for alleged fibbing?

I'd love to give Thatch a good kicking about this but this is a non party issue.

"they are all in it together"
