VW T25 2.0CU Carbs

Wondering if anyone has any experience of this? (I have tried club80-90 but looking for some 'wider' experiences)
I have the original Solex carbs on my T25 camper. I am wanting to replace them (rather than refurb) and I am looking at twin webers or similar. Does anyone have recommendations of what to put on. There are so many mixed review/ opinions it has left me confused.
The specialist I use recommends twin webers, on line community have recommended single webers, twin EMPI and there is much conflicting advice.....
