Morning,
I am new to this forum in the hope that someone here will be able to help.
I own a mark 1 tt and am now upgrading to the new tts. Seriously excited but am being held up by such a ridiculous problem. I am interested in colours burgundy and dark mica red on their configuration wheel/and seen samples
As the configuration wheel doesn't change the car to your chosen colour if its not standard, I have asked my audi dealer for a photo of any audi in the two colours and he hasn't been able to sort this out. He has been really helpful and great guy, says he has been in touch with Germany and agrees this is v silly.
I am a little more determined than that, and no way will I spend that sort of money without seeing it on a car! I don't think this is unreasonable.
So…I was hoping amongst all of you knowledgable guys if any of you can suggest other ways of trying to resolve this.
I have found the email for Andre Konsbruck, but can't seem to find any for Nick Ratcliffe (Marketing)or Cian O'Brien (sales) as I thought I would just email as I'm sure there must be photos of an audi in this colour somewhere and if someone higher up knew of this ridiculous issue it would get sorted - customer service isn't going to cut it.
Any suggestions will be really appreciated.
Becky

Dark Red Mica is a beautiful colour, but more often than not, photos won't do it justice given the high content of metal flake in it so it really depends on the lighting and such like. But i would go for that over Burgundy myself.

If you google 'audi red mica' and select images you will get a nice collection of photos - mostly RS6 and RS5s so no new TTs from what i can see, so it'll still be up to your imagination to picture your car in that colour.

also - the dealer should have some colour swatches of the exclusive paints - so you can at least get an idea of what its like in the flesh, albeit a 4in square of it.

good luck with your order tho

Also look at the Facebook page for Audi Forum Neckarsulm; most of the exclusive colours appear on there across various models.

thanks for the pic - problem is when I google for burgundy and for dark red mica, some of the same cars come up! I am really just looking for any audi in Brugundy and any audi in dark red mica to see the difference. I have seen a sample, but just want to see a car in it rather than a few inches square that is definitely the colour rather than hoping it is. Thanks for your help though
