So going to get 3 points and a fine for a ST06 I think, obviously not going to tell insurance Co. Yet but when would you tell them ?

Once fixed penalty has come through or on renewal date which is 2 months away, actually hoping that This particular force are lax in sending the notice out.

ST06? You mean SP60 or TS60?
I'd tell 'em as soon as it comes through - sod's law says that you'll have a claim between then and renewal, and have an awkward conversation.

Technically straight away. Most, including me, would leave it til renewal. It's not a rating factor for this policy year as that was fixed 10 months ago barring any major changes like moving house / changing car.

That would seem to be a slightly more reliable way of telling than asking the PH massive.

In most instances there is no requirement to disclose convictions that occur during the insurance contract period, you must however disclose them at renewal or if asked (it is a material fact).

Your policy may specifiy differently.

Ts20 - I thought that was a fine only.

confused

If that's the case, why's it called a TS20? It wouldn't have a conviction code if it weren't an endorsable offence.

Fixed three points for that. I'm guessing you overtook someone on double white lines?

I was done for drink driving, and the court date was a month away - rang my insurance (Admiral) and they said that even once I was convicted, I didn't have to tell them until renewal time. Needless to say, I wasn't renewing...

Failure to comply with a traffic sign can be a fine and points or a fine only, depending on which sign it was. Obviously only the endorseable version has an endorsement code.
