So who has ordered the new S550 Mustang?

The heated seats are an option but unfortunately the Recaros are not an option in RHD markets. I have spent 15 minutes sitting in a GT and found the standard seats very comfortable. I'm 5'11" and 13 stone.
Hope that helps.
In several of the reviews I've seen, the preference actually seems to be the GT seats anyway - saying that the Recaros are harder to get in/out of (wide side bolsters).Hope that helps.

I did the best part of 1500 miles in the stock seats and they were great. I'm 6'1" BTW. Wasn't a fan of the seat cooling as it makes you feel like you've wet yourself and I've probably got many years ahead to look forward to when I actually have
Similarly, I found the standard seats comfy too, no problems with them. I loved the seat cooling, really comfortable when driving round in Vegas/LA temperatures - one of my favourite little features actually! If you're impatient for your new car, why not buy a Mustang Golf Buggy to keep you going?
If I played golf, I could be tempted, although you would like a bit of a tool on a UK golf course. Now that is brash!

Panel Gaps don't look too bad on that one If I played golf, I could be tempted, although you would like a bit of a tool on a UK golf course. Now that is brash!

One of the attractions of this car, looking at US tuners prices, is that a lot of power is available for not a huge outlay.
Is there already a respected mustang tuner in the UK who will fit roush packages for example? Will the ford dealers start fitting them like they do in the USA?
Many thanks, this thread is a good read

Great thread, very informative in a confusing way, Ford seem to blame for it though!
Anyhoo's, just about to put a deposit down for a V8 manual, Ruby Red, custom pack.
As with most of you, I've watched just about every YouTube video review there is, one that showed the Ruby was the clincher on colour.
Moving on from a Nismo 370Z, second 370, need to scratch the V8 itch. My head has been turned to the Mustang by price, power, probable tune ability and the plethora of modding parts available, oh and endless episodes of American car shows on TV, current cheesy favourite is Fast N Loud.
Only Ford I've ever had was a 1974 Escort 1.1 Popular, hope the 'Stang starts better in the winter than that did. Yes I'm a bit ancient, so need to have a V8 before I shuffle off.
Looking for mid to late summer 2016 delivery, hopefully by that time there'll be a better handle on specs and build quality etc.

Good choice of colour IMO as I've ordered the same but I declined the custom pack as I don't want the silver wheèls that come with it. I prefer the black wheels. Anyhoo's, just about to put a deposit down for a V8 manual, Ruby Red, custom pack.

That yellow is growing on me!, so much you can do with vinyl with that colour.Got an interesting email from the dealer today, they had intimated at an earlier stage that a deposit now will get a Q2 delivery, probably early summer.
That doesn't suit so, they've agreed to hold any delivery, July/August for me to register in September, nice. However, I will probably take it July or August, just means I need to sell my Nismo a bit earlier than I planned (was hoping to get another Euro/Le Mans trip in before I sell)
Not bothered about getting it registered on a 16 or 66(?) plate as I have my own personal reg.
Money on the way to the dealer early next week, oh yeah baby!!!
Popped into my local Ford Store (Gowring Reading) as I was passing to see if there was any news.
Spoke to 'Martin' who was very open snd helpful. Alas, the dealers are still very much in the dark too. They have 3 cars now on Vista (Championship league cars) but were expecting another 10 or so to appear soon?
No other news re spec/options other than what we already know here.
Looks like quite a few cars will come Nov/Dec, but I'd prefer to wait until March for the 16 plate.
