Ok, now I understand the need to have advertisements on your home page but seriously, do you want people to come to Pistonheads to read and enjoy your content or do you just want them to come and see a huge fking ad to get you lots of money? I'm thinking the latter...

Just save a direct link to the forums, no more irritating ads or naff home page. Or just use an add blocker like the rest of us.

I have the direct links to forums too - actually to My Stuff. I didn't even know there was a home page until recently.

I find the classifieds and the home page mostly awful to use these days and generally give up with all the adverts ruining the experience and making my IE fall over.

I understand the need to monetise the site and its membership but I'd be willing to pay a subscription to stop all the crap in the background. It's the same for most websites now, after all if you're not paying for it you're the product!

Yep saw your first post, I browse on a company laptop so won't be putting stuff like that on it, just wanted to make a point and have a little moan if that's OK with you.
